低成本航空營運模式的興起,對於傳統航空公司以及機場的營運,都造成一定程度的衝擊。臺灣在2014年成立第一家國籍低成本航空,在機場營運上,也開放爭取低成本航空公司來開闢航線。隨著此一市場逐漸成長,航空公司間的競爭亦日益激烈,機場如何運用低成本航空之營運模式創新,擴大旅客人數,也成為機場營運管理的重要議題。不論從航空公司或機場營運層面,都需要進行更為詳細的低成本航空公司營運資料分析。在此一背景下,本研究嘗試以IATA MarketIS 2018資料庫檢索資料為基礎,從大量營運資料中進行資料分析彙整,並以亞洲六個主要機場為核心,分析低成本航空公司在六個主要市場的營運情形,同時也針對各機場載客量最大的業者,進行航網分析。透過此一分析,期望能提供航空業者、政府部門與研究單位初步的營運資料,作為後續研究探討的基礎。
The rise of Low Cost Carrier (LCC) business model has caused impacts on traditional airlines industry and airports as well. In response to this impact, Taiwan has established the first low-cost airline of nationality in 2014 and also opened up for low-cost airlines to open routes. With the growing number of LCC entering the market, the competition among airlines has become increasingly fierce. This also brings pressure for airliners for cost down and service innovation. For international airports, how to leverage the rise of LCC to attract passengers and enhance competition advantage has also become an important issue. For both airliners and airports, more detailed analysis of LCC data is essential for their policy making and operation decisions. In this context, this study attempted to analyze LCC operations in six major airports in Asia. Meanwhile, this study also provided a review of the LCC with the lion's share in six airports for hoping insight the business model for leader LCC. Through this analysis, it is expected to provide preliminary operational information for airliners, government departments and research units as a basis for follow-up research.
