本文詳細探討了晚明以來僧人的命名方法，特別是名、字、號的區別，以及造成這些區別背後的宗派組織制度原因。僧人名、字的取得、改變，反映了其所屬宗派譜系身分多重交叉的複雜性。

Parallel abstracts

This article discusses the significance of naming for Buddhist monastics since late Ming dynasty: it distinguishes the differences among lineage name (Ming名), Dharma name (Zi字) and Dharma title (Hao號), and analyzes the sectarian and organizational factors that contribute to such differences. The obtainment and changes of the names and titles of monastics since Ming dynasty are closely related to their multiple and interconnected positions within their sectarian lineages, and reflect the complexity of their identities.
