摘要

西方十六、十七世紀的傳教士們在傳遞基督信仰之「真」的目標之下，漂洋過海由歐洲來到印度的果阿，並以艱苦的方式進入中國，試圖實踐他們在中國建立基督王國的夢想。他們想傳遞的真理毋庸置疑地是基督信仰的真理，然而，在面對中國當時不同於歐洲的文化背景，以及儒家思想爲主流的情況，他們如何藉由不同的方式在跨文化的對談與理解之中傳遞基督信仰的「真」正面貌？本文擬由西方早期來華耶穌會傳教士的傳教策略爲出發點，探究利瑪竇如何透過他在《程氏墨苑》的圖文，傳遞基督信仰之「真」：天國／新天新地的概念。
