The Empowerment of Dragon: A Myth of the East and the West

Dragon is a symbol with distinct cultural attitudes which reveal passion and embodies supreme power in the east, but distaste and fosters horrendous terror in the west. Thus, one would expect a substantial proportion of the political leaders to be born in the dragon year in the east, but the opposite in the west. After checking the history of the east for over two thousand years and of the west for over three hundred, we show that the legend of dragon remains a myth, neither positive dragon effect in the former nor negative impact in the latter.
