In recent years, technological and vocational education in Taiwan continues to adjust its direction, deepening relations with the industry through improvements in education plans, in order to solve manpower shortage and close the gap between what is learned and what is used. This study plans courses that mainly focus on practical skills, in hopes that switching from single-sided lectures would help improve students' learning motive and learning results. In this study, students are taught with individual case studies by teachers from the industry, combined with a series of workplace experiencing events, which could cultivate students' ability of converting what they learned into practical skills, ultimately improving their profession and readiness. Results show that case-study practices allow students to utilize professional knowledge learned in the past, while also providing them the chance to experience the strategies and process of analyzing problems. Moreover, most students think that learning on the job helps them a lot. Through practical experience and interacting with genuine clients, they could more thoroughly understand the importance of communication skills in a wealthmanagement occupation. Lastly, technical practice lets students understand the importance of information technology applications. For instance, integrated customer service, smart wealthmanagement, and wealthmanagement integration. With an education method through teaching practice, this study closes the gap between academy and industry in a much more flexible manner, and is kept in line with Taiwan's guidelines of technological and vocational education.
