摘要

乳牙的早期喪失，使得牙弓長度縮減，進而影響後繼齒的萌發。遠心靴空間維持器是應用在恆牙第一大臼齒還未萌發，第二乳臼齒早期缺失的情形，以達到空間維持和萌發引導的目的。本篇文章呈現三個應用遠心靴空間維持器做為空間維持和萌發引導之病例報告。

Early loss of primary teeth may compromise the eruption of succedaneous teeth if there is a reduction in the arch length. The distal shoe appliance is used to maintain the space of a primary second molar that has been lost before the eruption of the permanent first molar and guide the eruption of permanent first molar. This paper presents 3 cases using distal shoe space maintainer for space maintenance and eruption guidance.
