摘要

下顎阻生第二大臼齒並非常見，盛行率約為0.05%至2.3%。萌發失敗的第二大臼齒不但可能造成齒列不正，也會導致自己本身或鄰接牙的齲齒及牙周病，鄰接牙之牙根吸收，囊腫形成等等狀況。一旦在病人身上發現第二大臼齒阻生齒，通常需要介入矯治以免發生上述情形。本篇為一利用局部固定式矯正器合併以矯正圓線彎成的多個環圈裝置成功將一左下阻生第二大臼齒矯治成功之病例報告。此方法經濟、簡單且相當有效，可在數個月內將近心傾斜的阻生齒扶正。

The mandibular second molar impaction is an uncommon condition with a prevalence from 0.05% to 2.3%. Problems associated with impacted second molar included malocclusion, caries, periodontitis, root resorption of neighboring tooth, and cyst formation. To avoid the above complications, early detection and intervention are recommended. This article is a case report of uprighting a mesially impacted mandibular second molar using segmental fixed orthodontic appliance with multiple loops . The method is simple, effective and efficient to correct the impacted mandibular second molar.
