Localized juvenile spongiotic gingival hyperplasia (LJSGH) is a gingival lesion with unique clinicopathologic features. Clinically, it is a well-circumscribed, exophytic red gingival lesion commonly located on the upper anterior attached gingiva of teenagers and young adults. The exact diagnosis is confirmed by histological examination. The etiology is yet to be established so far. Here we report two cases of LJSGH with stable condition after surgical excision. A literature review was also performed to assist in the clinical differential diagnosis of LJSGH.
