This study examines the relationship between the characteristics of elementary school burglars, their territorial consciousness, and campus monitoring systems in judicial rulings from the perspective of crime prevention. Supplemented by the Ministry of Education's statistics on campus safety and disaster incident trends, the paper outlines appropriate safety measures for campuses. This study accessed criminal rulings from 2010 to 2021 within the Judicial Yuan legal database retrieval system, focusing on cases related to burglaries committed on elementary school campuses. A total of 67 relevant and effective cases and 111 convicted individuals were identified for such burglaries. The data were subsequently prepared for numerical analysis using a coding scheme. The specific recommendations of the study include strengthening the campus perimeter, enhancing access control management, expanding surveillance capabilities, protecting target objects, and repairing protective devices, all of which can enhance the detection of criminal risks, thereby fostering a stronger deterrent against criminal activities, reducing instances of burglaries on school premises, and promoting campus safety.
