石田梅岩(ISHIDA BAIGAN) (1685-1744)被稱爲是江戶時代的商人道之父。他是開創日本平民教育的先鋒,獨力設立道場,義務教導百姓商人。之後,其門徒將他的教化理念發揚光大,而被稱之爲「石門心學」。石田梅岩的石門心學教化活動,被認爲是當今日本經濟發達的原動力。 本文主要在藉由石田梅岩對商人道的闡釋,探討其商業道德精神,做爲我國現代商人的借鏡。由石田梅岩在心學的教化活動中所談到的誠實、勤勞節儉、忍辱和諧、共存共榮等精神,提出對現代商人的建議。首先商人應以修身爲本、以本業爲榮,爲降低成本而精打細算,爲製造高品質商品而做好品管,爲使顧客滿意而體恤顧客,爲了要永續經營而與宇宙自然共生。
Ishida Baigan (1685-1744) was called the father of merchant morality during the period of the Edo in Japan. He established his own free ashram for commoners and became a model of social education. Many of his disciples followed his footsteps after he died, and built it into a realm called Sekimon-Shingaku that is well known nowadays. Baigan's Shingaku cultivating activities were treated as a milestone in the modern Japanese economical development. The purpose of this study is to examine Baigan's merchant morality, its spirit of commercial morality, and their edification for our modern merchant. This paper highlighted Baigan's teaching about the character of integrity, diligence, gratitude, and the attitude towards economy and symbiosis. In addition, some viewpoints derived from Baigan's teaching were presented for our modern merchant. Merchant should train his inner self to be confident and proud of his own occupation. Then, merchant should be flexible with adjusting the price for the benefit of consumers', and advancing the goods quality control. Lastly, merchant should take customer's satisfaction and the nature of stability development to heart.
