Taiwan's COVID-19 epidemic entered full swing in May, 2022. To curb the spread, colleges and universities nationwide switched to online classes, forcing students to once again shift to online learning as opposed to studying in traditional classrooms. This study focuses on students pursuing two-year advanced studies at one technical university in southern Taiwan on weekends. They were subjected to a 5 week online course implemented from May 9th, 2022 to June 12th, 2022. Prior to returning to campus on week 17, in order to understand students' acceptance and satisfaction towards online classes, the authors compiled their own questionnaire for survey, with 83 valid samples collected. Collected data are then analyzed and processed using statistical methods including t-test, ANOVA and linear regression. Study discovered that, due to the remote nature of studying from home, students mainly used notebook computers and mobile phones as learning tools, with satisfaction varying between age groups. Moreover, students' preparedness and instructors' leadership bear positive correlation as well as significantly affect students' satisfaction. However, course properties share no significant correlation with students' acceptance and satisfaction towards online classes. Lastly, the study proposes suggestions based on study findings as future reference for college and university faculty looking to utilize online instruction for part-time study programs or relevant studies.
