摘要

一49歲男性大學教授，曾有靜脈曲張病史及手術史，主訴發燒、頭暈等外感症狀，合併左小腿內側發現紅斑，行走時感覺腫脹疼痛。發病2日後疼痛加劇，行走跛行。診斷爲靜脈曲張合併靜脈炎，由中藥治療約1個月後，病人的發炎現象已痊癒。

A 49-year old male university professor had suffered from varicose vein and received surgery treatment. The chief complaints are fever, dizziness, red spots on the medial part of left leg, and swelling and pain during walking. Two days later the pain aggravated, and the patient limped. The diagnosis is varicose vein combined with phlebitis, and the inflammation is relieved after treating with Chinese herbs for about one month.
