A 76 years-old male patient was diagnosed with chronic glomenulonephritis because of lower extremety edema. His urine albumin maintained at a high level and finally dropped within normal range after he was prescribed with ZhuLingTang for his dampness and heat in lower burner. Other symptoms are also improved. Therefore, we provide this case study to emphasize the importance of ”dampness and heat” in the pathology and treating process of urine albumin.
