”Stiff neck” is an acute peri-cervical inflammation, often manifests as stiff and painful neck after sleep. A 61-year-old male suffered from right neck and upper back pain on Oct. 29th 2010. The pain got worse with limited range of motion on Oct. 31st 2010 when he went out for motorcycle ride with no jacket on. He came to our department for treatment on Nov. 1st 2010. He was diagnosed with Cold ”Bi” syndrome according to Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation. He was recovered after 3 acupuncture treatment sessions.
