This study is based on the stances of parents, the main customers in after-school care center, and teachers in education to explore the differentiation in choosing after-school care centers between the two parties. The methodology is according to Consumer Decision Process (CDP) and literature review so as to build up the assessing elements in choosing after-school care centers, along with the questionnaires from the parents and the teachers in the chosen eight elementary schools in Miao-Li County. The results showed among the assessing elements in choosing after-school care centers, the research explores that the parents obviously concern less about ”legal registration” but much about ”reputation” and ”location” than the teachers do. This study expected the result may offer a useful reference to parents in choosing ideal centers and to the owners of after-school care centers in adopting useful recruiting and operating strategies.
