桃園先賢志略：桃園縣勞工守護者－曾茂興
Brief Chronicle of Taoyuan Sages: Taoyuan County Labor Guardian-Zeng Maoxing
摘要
人物是影響歷史發展的主要因素，不過以往我們所知曉與研究者大多是世界級與國家級之歷史人物。然，對地方發展影響最甚者未必是國家級之歷史人物，反倒是地方之領袖人物。不過這些對地方有重大貢獻的人物卻經常受到忽視與漠視，致使地方一般居民根本不瞭解這些地方先賢。為彌補這種缺失，本園地已開闢「桃園先賢志略」單元來介紹夙昔各領域先賢典範。本單元歡迎專研桃園文史研究之學術先進共同經營。勞工是創造臺灣經濟奇蹟的無名英雄，但在法令不完備的年代中，他們往往是經濟發展中的弱勢者與犧牲者，不僅無法完整享受經濟發展的果實，有部份勞工甚至還遭到資本家惡意的資譴與遺棄，淪落為社會中最弱勢且無人關注的邊緣人。桃園縣是一蓬勃的新城市，亦即將於民國104年成為臺灣第6個直轄市，然而在桃園縣史上，卻也曾經歷了一段嚴重創傷勞工的血淚史。在此段勞工抗爭血淚史時期，出身基層勞工的曾茂興，不畏資方壓力與牢獄之災，以最激烈的抗爭方式替基層勞工爭取該有的權益，儼然成了桃園縣基層勞工的守護者。

People are the main factors affecting the development of history, but in the past and we know most of the world-class researchers and national historical figure. Taoyuan County is a vibrant new city, which in 2015 became the first six municipalities, one in Taoyuan County history, however, they have experienced a severe trauma labor tragic history. During this period of the tragic history of labor struggles, as grass-roots workers Zeng Maoxing, he defied pressure and jail employers to the most intense protest grassroots fight for the interests of others, seems to have become Taoyuan County grass-guardian.
