Applying Axiomatic Design and TRIZ for Furniture Coating Process Improvement

應用公理設計與TRIZ方法於家具塗裝製程之改善

摘要


本研究應用公理設計(Axiomatic Design)檢視不良品製造流程的設計,並分析設計中因兩個或多個功能需求間相互矛盾與衝突(contradiction)的影響情況,所產生的耦合問題(coupled problem),進而以解決耦合問題來降低產品的不良率。然而公理設計對於耦合問題並無提出有效的解決辦法,因此整合TRIZ(Theory for Solving Inventive Problems)之創新問題解決方法,將耦合問題中功能需求之間的相互衝突或矛盾,以創新問題解決方法尋求可以解決功能需求之間矛盾或衝突的設計參數,藉此達到公理設計之去耦及創新,以求快速、有效解決設計衝突問題。最後,本研究以家具工廠為案例,改善家具工廠中塗裝的不良率,並與原工廠設計方案進行設計評估與比較,其結果顯示改善後的設計可有效的降低不良率,而且比原來的設計方案更符合工廠的製造需求。

This paper presents an approach based on Axiomatic design and TRIZ (Theory for Solving Inventive Problems) for furniture coating process improvement. Independence axiom of axiomatic design first examines the coupled problem due to interaction between manufacturing process design and function needs, and further analyzes the cause of the interaction between the function needs and converts it into the contradiction and conflict matrix. TRIZ is then applied to solve the design parameters in conflict or contradiction between functional requirements in the coupled problem. A real case of furniture coating process is investigated, and results show that the proposed approach can effectively improve coating defects.
