The Meaning of Space to be a Symbol: The Biblical Example of Wilderness Space

The purpose of this paper is to explore the meaning and application of space as a symbol. Although space is a familiar physical phenomenon and has been discussed extensively in the history of philosophy, what exactly is the symbol of space? But what are spatial symbols and how do they relate to people? First, we will explain the concept of spatial symbolism, i.e., what it means to consider space as a symbol; second, we will discuss how the wilderness, as an objective being, is transformed from the physical world to the surrounding world, using the biblical text as a basis; third, we will discuss how the wilderness, as an objective physical world, is transformed into a meaning-bearing Third, we will discuss the meaningful content of the wilderness as an objective physical world transformed into a symbolic carrier of meaning.
