多元文化的反思-以文化謙遜提升諮商督導歷程的效能

Reflections on Multiculturalism: Enhancing the Effectiveness of Counseling Supervision through Cultural Humility

摘要


多元文化議題與素養漸漸成為諮商心理工作的核心,也是諮商心理師應該具備的倫理之一(Bernard & Goodyear, 2019)。Hook等人(2013)認為諮商心理專業領域應該納入文化謙遜,將個案與受督者的價值、信念與世界觀放在首位。諮商督導是培養諮商心理師因應多元文化的重要過程,藉由諮商督導的平行歷程,受督者也會潛移默化尊重多元文化的表現。由於督導者扮演著教師、諮商師、諮詢師與守門人的角色,有效能的督導者除了協助諮商心理師培養關鍵的處遇能力,也進一步能確保來訪個案的福祉,提升大眾對於諮商心理工作的接納與重視。筆者期望透過本文的探討,釐清與瞭解文化謙遜的相關概念,促發文化謙遜因應台灣本土化與多元文化的討論,增進台灣諮商心理學領域在多元文化議題上有更多的聚焦與瞭解。
