摘要


正如語法是語言表達的不自覺基礎,音樂技巧也是創造性表現必不可缺的支柱。木匠造房子,先要有適當的工具;但有了適當的工具還不行,還要會熟練使用才能應付各種需要。每個人都知曉,技巧只是達到目的的手段而己,但是沒這個手段,卻達不到目的。鋼琴技巧的藝術始於技巧問題獲得解決,而成熟的技巧方能達到詮釋者創意的巧思。每個困難的技術問題應當先仔細觀察,並從不同的角度入手。技巧是一種技能-一項能將人體工學與合乎鋼琴本質的系列動作協調良好的能力。任何一個學生都將受益於一種使演奏者身體協調的學習方法,而這種協調的身體動作,為達到富有創造性和表現力的演奏打下堅實基礎。由於教材是有計劃而且為了某一個目標而設計的,所以每一份教材應該都有其特殊的目標。教材的選擇並不能保証教學的成功,主要還是要看老師的教法如何。但是如果好的老師配上好的教材教學,那就能開創燦爛的成效。

Just as grammar is an unconscious foundation of verbal expression, so musical technique is the necessary underpinning of creative expression. If he is to build a house, a carpenter must be supplied with adequate and properly sharpened tools; he must be expert in applying these tools to any demand that may arise. Everybody knows that technic is only a means to an end; but without this means one does not reach the end. The art of piano technique begins at the point where technical problems have already been resolved and where a sophisticated technique serves the creative purpose of the interpreter. Each difficult technical problem should be examined and approached from different points of view.Technique is a skill-a well-coordinated system of motions conditioned by the anatomy of human body and the nature of the piano. Any student of the piano can benefit from a holistic approach, in which coordinated movements of the pianist's body provide the foundation for reaching the heights of musical creativity and expression. Since methods books have planned objectives for systematic progression, one should consider the specific goals outlined by each book or series. Success cannot be guaranteed automatically by materials chosen. The teacher, not a set of books, is the determining factor in quality results. Nevertheless, a gifted teacher using suitable methods will be most likely to produce outstanding results.
