Systematic Review of Research on Leadership and Management in the Fire Service, 2000-2018
摘要
The purpose of this study is to analyze the content, current situation, and development of the research on leadership and management in the fire service in recent years. The journal articles, research reports and school publications on leadership and management in the fire service from 2000 to 2018 were explored and analyzed in this paper. To begin with, content analysis is used to discuss the meaning and development of leadership and management in the fire service. Then, we collect 24 journal articles, research reports, and school publications to explore the content, current situation, and development of leadership and management in the fire service by different scope of time, themes, methods, and purpose orientation of related researches. Finally, based on a systematic review of research on leadership and management in the fire service, the results of the analysis yield the conclusions. Findings are as follows: (1) The number of studies related to the academic research needs of fire organizations has increased year by year. (2) The research topics are biased towards organizational leadership and management, with few other topics. (3) The questionnaire research method is used in most of the researches. (4) The research purpose orientation biases the relationship exploration and model construction, but the current situation description, theoretical exploration, and verification research are sparse.
