本研究調查國小學童對塑膠積木與齒輪玩具的接受度,探討齒輪玩具對學童相關科學概念之影響;其次擷取塑膠嵌合積木與齒輪玩具之不同特徵,以特徵移轉方法進行創新設計。調查國小學童接受度階段,受測者自由選擇組裝塑膠積木與齒輪玩具,在操作時觀察遊戲進行中所遇到的問題點,操作後再以問卷調查其接受度。運用齒輪玩具有助於相關科學概念之接受與迷思概念之去除。調查結果顯示塑膠積木玩具仍有較高的接受程度;一般學童雖多優先選擇嚐試齒輪組玩具,但於使用之後,因對齒輪組特性不了解而造成使用意願下降。本研究擷取塑膠積木與齒輪玩具之優點,提出更新設計,有助於引導塑膠積木玩具使用者轉用原有經驗於嚐試使用齒輪組玩具。
The acceptance of building block and gear learning toys were studied here. Firstly, the acceptance of both toy were investigated through observation and questionnaires with primary school children. Children choose the prefer toy and try to assembly it to a specific shape, after that, children try to use another one to build an arbitrary shape by oneself. The scientific concepts of student were improved by utilized the gear learning toys. The survey results showed that the acceptance of building block toy is higher then that of gear learning toy. Owing to most children familiar with building block toy, it was interesting to combine some characteristics of building block toy with gear learning toy done and redesign it by feature transfer methodology. By adopting the useful features, a re-deign toy with both building block and gear learning toys was proposed to entice children to use it.
