目前在眾多的餐飲商業空間中,咖啡館或咖啡廳的設立總站有一席之地,市面上雖然咖啡館到處林立,但實際要經營一家咖啡館,除具專業外,有時卻與咖啡館的整體形象有關,其形象包括視覺規劃和空間設計等。事實上,咖啡館是否能持續的保持營運幾乎是建立在消費者的評價優劣,而營造這些感覺體驗就得端看咖啡館內外部的識別體系規劃和氛圍設計,亦即如何建立獨特的風格來吸引消費者。本文主要分為五個單元來探討有關咖啡館的歷史、功能性、營運模式及存在意涵等,同時並以個案研究的方式分析有關咖啡館識別體系的造形、色彩及空間氛圍的設計內容等。壹、前言為說明本文的動機與目的。貳、文獻探討則提出與咖啡館相關的文獻報告,例如:從咖啡館相關的傳播發展史的探討。叁、咖啡館的歷史與功能性主要係針對咖啡館的淵源與咖啡館的功能性作敘述。肆、個案研究則提出兩家不同的典型咖啡館作案例分析。伍、結論係根據以上所述提出總結。
