摘要
本文主要分析2008年陳嘉上導演的電影《畫皮》對經典著作的重新詮釋、改編，電影片名出於中國古典名著《聊齋誌異》。劇情鋪展成：秦漢年間，都尉王生（陳坤飾）率領王家軍在西域與土匪激戰中，救回一名絕色女子，並帶回江都王府，沒想到這位美女竟是「九霄美狐」小唯（周迅飾）披人皮所變！她的人皮必須靠服用人心維持，所以小唯的追求者─沙漠蜥蜴妖精，每隔幾天便會殺人將其心取出供奉給小唯享用，以表達對小唯的愛。考察電影《畫皮》對《聊齋》文本的異同，相同的有：1.角色原型、2.部分情節，這是對經典的回歸；不同的是：1.書生改為武將、2.虛增角色、3.驚悚的吃心場景、4.主題由「警世色誡」到「愛情至上」。電影票房的成功，是否就是文化藝術的成功？繼之細論電影的超越與不足。超越之處有四：1.厲鬼變美狐、2.好色書生變至情戰將、3.空間的呈現、4.迎合現代趨勢的愛情元素。一劍雙刃，在歌頌愛情的同時，顧此失彼，「勇於追愛」的小唯形象便成最大爭議處，傳統性別文化中「紅顏禍水」的敘事觀點便無法突破。
