以意象讀詞,雖可讀出詞的言外之意,但卻不能讀出白石詞中的寄託之意。自從王國維批評姜夔「有格而無情」以來,宗白石者提出白石有情且深情之說,學界普遍接受夏承燾「白石情事說」,本文繼承此基礎,析論白石詞之內涵與感情的關係,觀察到白石特別喜愛梅花,且在書寫梅花詞,有別於以往文人雅士歌詠梅之貞潔,反倒是真切地寫梅賦情。以情事而言,梅花詞中被賦予了什麼樣的感情?賞讀後發現有其個人專屬的感情寄託,在描寫梅花之時,同時也賦予了幾種感情,包含對情人的思念,對故人的懷念,也有著時光流逝的無奈,自感身世飄零。或是單純地賞梅、詠梅,或是以梅祝賀,梅在他的感情世界中已化身為多種形象,成為生命精神的依傍,由此可證姜夔是位多情的詞家,將情感賦予在梅花詞。
Reading the words in terms of imagery, although one can read the meaning of the words, one cannot read out the meaning of Bai Shi's words. Since Wang Guowei criticized Jiang Kui as "having style but no emotion", those who have been devoted to Bai Shi have put forward the idea that Bai Shi is sentimental and deeply emotional, and the scholarly circle generally accepts Xia Cheng-to's "theory of Bai Shi's emotional affairs". This article continues on this basis and analyzes the relationship between connotations and emotions of Bai Shi's lyrics, observing that Bai Shi is particularly fond of plum blossoms and that he wrote his lyrics on plum blossoms in a manner different from the past when the literati and elegant people used to sing about plum blossoms in a pure manner and instead wrote about plum blossoms in a way that was genuinely sentimental. In terms of sentiment, what kind of feelings were given to the plum blossoms in the lyrics? After reading them, I found that they have their own personal feelings. When describing plum blossoms, they also give several kinds of feelings, including the longing for the lover, the nostalgia for the deceased, and also the helplessness of the passage of time, and the feeling that they are drifting in their own world. Or simply enjoying plums, singing of plums, or congratulating with plums, plums in his emotional world has been transformed into a variety of images, become the spirit of life dependence, thus proving that Jiang Kui is a sentimental wordsmith, will be emotionally endowed with the plum blossom in the words.
