This article is based on an internet search for 40 keywords associated with the June 4th Massacre. Detailed and painstaking comparison of the evidence establishes the steps by which the leadership applied martial law in Beijing, from the movement and deployment of troops to the facts of the killings, including the killing sites and the number of persons killed or wounded. This establishes beyond doubt that the order to shoot came from the highest echelons. The article proves the falsity of the central government's claim that there was a counter-revolutionary uprising.
