電子遊戲玩家之人格特質、遊戲動機、遊戲興趣與續玩意願之研究

A Study of the Personality Traits, Gaming Motivations, Gameplay Interest, and Continuous Intention among Video Game Players

摘要


電玩產業隨著科技發展,現今全球約有79%的線上人口有玩電子遊戲,遊戲興趣在電子遊戲與人們個體差異的關係及關係持續意願之課題值得進一步探討。本研究強調人格特質、遊戲動機和遊戲興趣在遊戲關係持續意願中的重要影響作用。研究結果顯示遊戲動機之人際社交、逃避歸屬、娛樂休閒為遊戲興趣之預測因素,顯示正向影響力;遊戲動機之人際社交、逃避歸屬、娛樂休閒亦為續玩意願之預測因素,顯示正向影響力;遊戲興趣對人際社交與遊戲續玩意願具有中介效果。本研究結果為遊戲玩家特質提供了有益的參考和啟示,遊戲開發者和設計師可以參考這些結果來更好地理解玩家的需求和期望。

With the development of technology, the video game industry has seen significant growth, and currently, about 79% of the global online population plays electronic games. The relationship between gameplay interests and individual differences, as well as the willingness to continue gaming, are topics worthy of further exploration. This study emphasizes the significant impact of personality traits, play motivations, and gameplay interests on the willingness to continue gaming. The research results indicate that interpersonal socialization, escape and belonging, and entertainment and leisure motivations are predictive factors for gameplay interests, showing a positive influence. Additionally, interpersonal socialization, escape and belonging, and entertainment and leisure motivations are also predictive factors for the willingness to continue playing games, demonstrating a positive impact. Furthermore, gameplay interests have an intermediate effect on interpersonal socialization and the willingness to continue gaming. These research findings provide valuable insights and references for understanding the traits of gamers, and game developers and designers can utilize these results to better comprehend players' needs and expectations.
