苏霍姆林斯基长期工作在教育与教学工作的第一线,积累了丰富的教育理论与实践经验,其中在教育管理思想方面有自己独到的见解。他提出的教育思想治校思想,主张教师集体是教育思想治校的完成者,领导全体教师进行创造性劳动是教育思想治校的关键,教师队伍的建设是教育思想治校的重点。教育思想治校思想的提出,不仅极大地推动了当时苏联教育理论与实践的发展,同时对中国当前的教育改革也具有启发意义。研究结果显示:(1)在校长的各种工作中,最重要的应该是教育问题而不是事务性问题;(2)要真正做到“教育思想治校”,就应该要实现对教育者教育素养的培养与提高;(3)学校管理的中心应该放在建设教师队伍上,要实现从应试教育向素质教育的转变就需要重视教师个人教育素质的培养;(4)要采取有效的行动和有力的措施,要求苏霍姆林斯式的教师成为有独立思考精神的教师,使学生接受到的教育为真正的全面发展的素质教育。
