《楚辭‧九歌‧湘君》「下女」、〈湘夫人〉「遠者」、〈大司命〉「離居」解－兼論其（附以〈山鬼〉、〈河伯〉）製皆短篇之〈離騷〉

Explicating ＂The Earthy Woman＂ from ＂The Chu Lyrics, Nine Chantings, Gents Shan＂, ＂The Aloof＂ from ＂Madam Shan＂, and ＂The Departed＂ from ＂Da-sher-ming＂ with references to some short shorts from ＂Li-Shao＂ such as ＂Mountain Ghost＂ and ＂River Uncle＂

摘要

「下女」，下界之女，人間之美女，非楚國之美女，即非楚國之國君。「遠者」，遠方之他國美女，即遠方他國之國君。「離居」，「離此居彼，往而求之，互相適合」的他國美女。「此」，楚國；「彼」，非楚國之他國。屈原表達要追求別國美女，即要離開楚國，前往他國尋求志同道合的君王之意，主旨皆與〈離騷〉相同。

＂The earthy woman＂ refers to ＂mundane woman＂ which means ＂beauty of the human world＂; it therefore does not refer to the beauty from Chu Kingdom, not to mention the king of Chu. ＂The aloof＂ refers to beauty from other kingdoms, which indicates kings from other remote kingdoms. ＂The departed＂ explicates beauty from other kingdom who left her place and resided in other places; the former place refers to Chu Kingdom whereas the latter other kingdoms except Chu. Shi-yuan expresses his inclination to pursue beauty of other countries, indicating that he has decided to leave Chu Kingdom in order to serve other kings that think alike him. The motif therefore share similarity with that of ＂Parting＂ (Li-Shao).
