四川汶川特大地震死亡人員高達八萬以上，災後心理及精神重建將是一個非常艱難的過程，根據台灣9•21大地震的經驗，地震中的幸存者的生死哀傷問題將持續三到十年之久，這從一個側面說明了生死哀傷撫慰的重要與必要。本文將以四川汶川特大地震局背景，來闡明生死哀傷撫慰的性質、過程、方法與技巧，尤其是宗教的生死智慧在其中的意義與價值。

Parallel abstracts

The number of fatalities in the Wenchuan earthquake in Siehuan province reached more than 80, 000, and the psychological and spiritual reconstruction after the disaster will be a quite difficult process. According to experience of reconstruction after the September 21 earthquake in Taiwan, the survivors' grief over life and death will last as long as three to ten years, which, to some degree, reflects the importance and necessity of relieving grief over life and death. This article is to, under the background of the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, illustrate the nature, procedure, methods and skills of relieving grief over life and death, and especially, the significance and value of the religious wisdom of life and death in this process.
