高爐鳩尾槽磨損模擬分析

摘要


現今煉鐵工業所用之高爐,冷卻壁為常用之冷卻元件。位於冷卻壁上有一凹凸結構稱為鳩尾槽,此鳩尾槽主要作用為保護內側冷卻壁,避免冷卻壁受粒子敲擊磨損導致破裂,使冷卻水流入高爐內造成危險。每座高爐的鳩尾槽都不盡相同,但設計的主要目的不外乎為了有更長的使用壽命與降低爐料對爐壁的磨損,因此探討不同設計下,對於磨耗的差異與找到一個磨耗的指標,用以判斷鳩尾槽設計優劣的參考依據。研究者對於高爐爐壁的磨損模擬,一般都以爐料與爐壁之間的壓縮力(Compressive Force)做為判斷爐壁磨損狀況的指標。但依據高爐實務指出,高爐某些區域壓縮力小卻容易損壞,可見使用壓縮力當作磨耗指標可能有所不足。從傳統磨損理論來說,磨耗量正比於壓縮力乘上磨擦件移動距離,所以是一個能量的指標。本研究利用離散元素法(Discrete Element Method, DEM)模擬軟體(EDEM)進行高爐爐料運動的模擬,並計算出爐壁之累積接觸能量(Cumulative Contact Energy)來做為高爐爐壁磨耗指標。

Copper staves are common cooling elements used in today's blast furnaces in the iron making industry. Located in the cooling wall has a concavo-convex structure called the dovetail groove. The main function of the dovetail groove is to protect the inner cooling wall to prevent the cooling wall from being rupture by particles wearing. If cooling water flow into the blast furnace may cause dangerous. The design of the dovetail for each blast furnace is different, but the main purpose of the design is nothing more than to have a longer life and reduce the wear on the furnace wall. Therefore, analyze of different dovetail wear performance and find a wear index to determine the advantages and disadvantages of dovetail design. The blast furnace wall wear simulation usually based on the compressive force between the particles and the furnace wall as an index of furnace wall wear status. However, according to the actual situation of the blast furnace, some areas in have less compressive force but easy be worn, showing the use of compressive force as a wear index may be inadequate. According to the traditional wear theory, the amount of wear is proportional to the compressive force multiplied by the friction member moving distance, so it is an index of energy. In this research, we simulated the blast furnace charge by using the Discrete Element Method (DEM) simulation software (EDEM), and calculated the cumulative contact energy of the furnace wall as the blast furnace wall wear index.
