This study aimed on the design and marketing planning of a patent inventive elastic band. The researchers conceived new ideas for the usages of the product and made a general estimation on the products by means of TRIZ, patent retrieval, SWOT analysis, STP, and 4P. The researcher used TRIZ to conceive ten new ideas on the application of the patent elastic band, and further utilized patent retrieval to make sure if the products have been invented or not. Moreover, the researchers mapped out marketing planning of these ten products through SWOT analysis, STP, and 4P. Through the study, we hoped that we could not only provide some good ideas for the factory but also facilitated them to innovate better products.
