This study aimed to investigate the relationship of teachers’ life guidance, students’ penalty records and their absence from school. The subject was a senior high school that used a comprehensive counseling platform to informationizeitscounseling work. The data obtained from the platform were analyzed by Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The main findings are as follows: 1. The correlation between life guidance and students’ absence from school was negative in general, especially for students in the practical skill program and the department of commercial management. 2. Life guidance was almost not correlated with students’ penalty records, except a class in the department ofacademic natural science of the comprehensive school. 3. The efficiency of a comprehensive counseling platform on students’ life guidance will be better as time goes on. Finally, discussed on the results of the research and based on the findings to give suggestions for references of future research, related educator and administrator.
