This article investigates the reference of Jiěshìgēyì (解釋歌義), a ménfǎ pamphlet excavated from Hēishuǐ city. The rime dictionary it referred to is probably an edition of the Qiēyùn rime dictionary in Wǔdài. Compared to the Guǎngyùn rime dictionary, there are 207 rimes in this dictionary, with three rimes added (chí 栘, xuān 宣, and xuě 雪) and two rimes subtracted (yǎn 儼 and yàn 釅). The rime table it referred to is Zhǐxuánlùn (指玄論), presumably with 16 shè's and 26 tables. The zìmǔ's in the tables are probably arranged in the order of chún shé yá chǐ hóu, and rùshēng is paired to both yīnshēng and yángshēng. As for non-phonological reference, there are two stories, viz. Suíhóuzhū and Héshìbì, cited in Jiěshìgēyì. Their source material is Zhùqiānzìwén (注千字文) of Lǐxiān (李暹), who lived in the Northern Dynasties.
