摘要

Function Analysis System Technique )FAST( is a part of Value Engineering )VE( developed by Charles W. Bytheway in 1965 who provided a graphical representation and logical structure to the function analysis step of the Value Methodology. In this paper we will provide some introduction of FAST, VE study, history background of refrigerator, methodology, our result of function analysis and FAST diagram. We hope that this paper will provide sufficient information about refrigerator, FAST diagram and can be used as a reference for future research.
