闊節裂頭絛蟲(Diphyllobothrium latum)與曼氏裂頭絛蟲(Diphyllobothrium mansoni)的蟲卵在掃描電子顯微鏡下,有明顯的不同。前者呈卵圓形,有許多卵的卵蓋已脫落;卵的表面雖有微孔,但在1,400倍以下無法見到,在5,000倍時略可見,而10,000倍時,其微孔明顯且略呈圓形。後者的蟲卵呈長錐形,未見有卵蓋脫落的蟲卵;卵表面的微孔在1,400倍時即可看到,5,000倍時更清楚。
Ova of Diphyllobothrium latum and DiPhyllobothrium mansoni were studied under the scanning electron microscope. According to our study, apparent differences have been found in the surface structure of ova between these two species. Ova of D. latum appeared ovally. Some of the opercula were detached from the ova. Many small pores could only be seen on the ovum surface under SEM with the magnification of about 10,000 X. while ova of D. mansoni appeared conically, the opercula of all of the ova we have examined were tightly attached. The small pores on the ovum surface of D. mansoni are larger than those of D. latum and could originally be seen under the magnification of 1,400 X and appeared clearly under 5,000 X.
