摘要
La investigación hace un análisis cualitativo de la estructura de poder del régimen del partido político Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional en Nicaragua, desde 2007 hasta la actualidad. El objetivo principal es identificar los factores subyacentes detrás del locus de poder político del Presidente Ortega. Revisa las decisiones políticas de la administración con grandes apuestas en la política local y las implicaciones de las alianzas entre los diferentes actores políticos. También se analizan los retos en las políticas públicas que destacan numerosas vías para futuras investigaciones. Este artículo muestra que el control de Ortega del poder político puede ser mejor explicado por sus alianzas que las prerrogativas legales establecidas en el cambio constitucional en 2013 para mantener la estabilidad social y en medio de los casos de malestar social durante la presidencia de Ortega.

The research is a qualitative analyzes of the power structure of the political party ＂Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional＂ Regime in Nicaragua, from 2007 to the present. The main objective is to identify the underlying factors behind President's Ortega's locus of political power. It reviews the administrations political decisions with large stakes in local politics and the implications of the alliances between different political actors. It also discusses the challenges in public policy that highlight numerous avenues for future research. This article shows that Ortega's control of political power may be better explained by its alliances than the legal prerogatives established in the constitutional change in 2013 to maintain social stability and amid instances of social unrest during Ortega's presidency.
