番石榴田間作業之開發與應用

摘要

番石榴是臺灣重要常綠果樹之一，可周年開花結果，其生育期之管理工作相當繁複，包括整枝修剪、施肥、灌溉、病蟲害防治及疏果等，雜草管理更是推行果園草生栽培相當重要的工作項目。目前已有割草、施肥、噴藥、修剪、殘枝粉碎、搬運等機械可供田間管理作業應用，而其他各類省工機械化之研究與開發亦持續進行中。惟栽培果園若地形崎嶇不平、行間有排水溝、過度密植、枝幹低垂者，將不利於部份作業機械之操作。因此建議果農將田區妥善規劃，尤其具有較寬敞的行株間距，除日照、通風條件較佳外，對於各類機械更能發揮最大的功能。

The guava is one of the most important evergreen fruit trees in Taiwan, which can blossom and produce fruit in four seasons. The management is extremely complicated during the growth period including branch pruning, fertilizing, irrigating, plant disease preventing and controlling fruit thinning etc. The weed control is the main issue of the vegetation culture in orchards. At present, there are lawn mowers, manure applicator, sprayer, trimmer and pulverizer for orchard residual branches and agricultural power carrier to use in the farm management. The other kind of labor-saving machines continue developing. If the terrain rugged, between the lines has the aqueducts, the plants were excessively dwarfed and close-planted; some machine will be unsuited to operate in orchard field. Therefore, suggested the guava field must to be properly arranged and increased the plant spacing for well-lighted and ventilating effect, and the labor-saving machines will be enhanced the best working efficiency.
