As an indicator of adolescent development, adolescent quality of life is defined as a subjective evaluation of an individual's life environment, from childhood to adulthood, in all aspects of life, including family and school. Since there is a lack of systematic concept analysis in Taiwan, the concept analysis in this article adopted the approach described by Walker & Avant (2019) to consolidate the relevant literature, establish the definitional characteristics of adolescent quality of life, and clarify the concept using model, borderline, contrary, and related cases. In addition, the antecedents and consequences of adolescent quality of life were identified to provide caregivers with a deeper understanding of the concept of adolescent quality of life.
