QCC活動的成功有賴於所有團隊成員的參與及QCC圈長領導風格的相互配合,要達到這樣的目標,除了必須注重品管圈成員的專業知識、溝通技巧、互動技巧、及有效會議技巧的訓練外,最重要的是要有一位具有優異領導風格的品管圈圈長能以清楚的目標來鼓勵成員、促使成員認真參與品管圈的活動、及協助成員主動積極地參與產品及流程的改善,來進一步地奠定品質意識的基礎,使QCC活動的推行更加順利。但是QCC相關文獻的評論甚少討論到品管圈圈長的領導風格對品管圈成效有何影響,因此本研究特別先以行為層面的相關文獻來闡明品管圈圈長領導風格的操作型定義與建構初步的衡量構面及問卷題項,之後再針對一家位於新竹科學園區的半導體晶片製造廠商發出問卷,並從良好的信度及效度分析結果來建構出品管圈成員理想中的圈長領導風格量表。
The success of Quality Control Circle (QCC)activities lie on the fit between the dedication of all teammates and the leadership style of QCC leader. The path to this goal starts with training that focuses on communication skills, interactive skills, effective meeting skills, and most importantly, a team leader with excellent leadership style fitted for all team members. Such ideal QCC leader not only can motivate team members by clarifying goals but also permit people to participate effectively in group activities, facilitating them to actively involve in the continuous improvement of products and process. Even though a review of relevant literature can provide a background concerning possible problems encountered in QCC, the amount of literature that addresses in the QCC leader’s leadership style is still limited. This study focus on the establishing of an ideal QCC leader’s leadership style rating scale by clarifying the operational definition, constructing measurement dimensions, analyzing the reliability and validity of leadership style description questionnaire that collected from one semiconductor wafer manufacturer located in the Hsin-Chu science-based industrial park.
