This paper summarizes the research progress in coordinated control of formation configuration of space solar power station energy transmission system (SSPS-ETS). Firstly, this article compares and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the existing formation configuration, formation reconfiguration, and formation maintenance methods from the perspective of the construction of SSPS-ETS, and discusses the feasibility of its application. Secondly, system discussion and analysis for the existing formation coordinated control strategies are conducted in-depth and study the feasibility of its application in ETS. Finally, combined with the existing research results, the key technical and theoretical problems that need to be solved are put forward from the perspective of developing SSPS-ETS in the future.
