摘要

子宮頸癌盤居婦癌之首長達30年，終於引起注意，抹片篩檢數由是逐年快速增加。1995年抹片納入健保，30歲以上婦女每年便可有一次免費抹片檢查，費用由政府支付。自從抹片納入健保後，十年不到，子宮頸癌便跌出十大死亡排行榜之列，目前的抹片率也已超過50%。
