對英語「融入」幼教的幾個看法

A Few ideas for integrating English in Preschool Education

摘要


目前,台灣幼兒園中推動中英雙語教育的主要策略是英語融入式教學法。本文介紹2004和2005年時,筆者在幼兒園中推動英語融入式教學的經驗,並提出對於英語融入幼兒園的看法,包括英語繪本閱讀和英語說故事時間的實踐,本地教師應進修英語,以擔任英語教師,也鼓勵家長與孩子共讀,和園內布置讀書角,培養幼兒閱讀英語的習慣等。雖然這些看法是近二十年前提出,至今仍然可行。

At present, the English integrated teaching approach is the main strategy for promoting Chinese-English bilingual education in kindergartens in Taiwan. This article introduces the author's experience on promoting English integration teaching in kindergartens between 2004 and 2005, and puts forward her views on English integration in kindergartens, including the practice of English picture book reading and English storytime, domestic teachers' in-service training in English, parents-children joint-reading, and the arrangement of reading corners in the kindergarten to cultivate children's habit of English reading. Although these views were proposed nearly two decades ago, they are still valid today.
