摘要

This study evaluated the effects of Bifidobacterium lactis GKK2 fermentation metabolites (GKK2fm) on skin care, including improvement in moisturization, maintenance of collagen content, and reduction of inflammatory reaction. Results showed that treatment of human keratinocytes (HaCaT) with 5% GKK2fm significantly promoted their hyaluronic acid secretion. For human fibroblasts (Hs68), the same treatment resulted in a reduction in collagenase production and an increase in type I collagen content upon photodamage. In addition, pre-treatment of human keratinocytes with 5% GKK2fm was found to decrease Cutibacterium acnes induced production of interleukin-8 (IL-8). These results suggest that GKK2fm can improve skin moisturization and reduce skin damage caused by environmental factors and that it has the potential for development as a skin care product.
