末日迷蹤:不法者和攔阻他的究竟是誰?

摘要


本於聖經神學的方法,本文嘗試從「主題平行的經文段落」和「末日模型」的兩個角度,來解讀帖後2:1-12。特別是困擾學界多年的問題:不法者和攔阻他的,究竟是誰?筆者認為啟示錄十二章和二十章,以及耶穌的末日教訓(太25:1-31;可13:1-27;路21:5-28),乃是帖後2:1-12的平行經文,是可以互相解釋的。至於記錄在創世記六至八章中的洪水審判,則提供了一個可以與帖後二章彼此參照的「末日模型」。藉著參考三段平行經文,本文支持和肯定了如下的見解:帖後二章中的不法者,乃撒旦在這個世界中的差役,而攔阻不法者顯露的,則是天使長米迦勒和他所宣告的福音。而若參照洪水審判的模型,「為何神要攔阻不法者顯現,並因此就延遲了末日來到」的問題,就有了答案。

Based upon the method of Biblical theology, this paper will try to read 2 Thess 2:1-12 from two perspectives, thematic parallel passage and eschatological module, so as to answer the question that has puzzled scholars for a long time, i.e., who is the lawless one and by whom is he restrained? The writer proposes that Rev 12 and 20, as well as Jesus’ teaching concerning the end time recorded in Matt 25:1-31, Mark 13:1-27 and Luke 21:5-28, are parallel passages to 2 Thess 2:1-12 and can be served as a key for our understanding of the particular Thessalonian passage. In addition to this, Gen 6-8 provides an eschatological module comparable to Paul’s saying in 2 Thess 2. In light of the three parallel passages, this paper confirms the view held by some in the past that the lawless one is Satan’s agent in this world and the restrainer is the archangel Michael and the gospel he proclaimed. In view of the end time module found in Gen 6-8, this paper also answers the renowned question: why God intends to block the manifestation of the lawless one in human history and thus delays the day of Parousia?
