Although Taiwan animators produced some original feature-length animations, but the results are not satisfactory. In this research, we find that their successful experiences which foreign animation companies made animation films into the market has a similar way. Before they created their original animations, they had many skills of adapting the works which are written or drew by others or themselves. Their early animations almost are short animations. But Taiwan animators were eager to produce feature-length animated films, so the results are hard to successful. Therefore, In order to let Taiwan animation industry have the same level of popular animations, we recommend they try to adapt works first. This paper analyzes the adapting animated works in the previous experience through documents analysis and practicing exercises, as well as comparing the difference of original works and adapting animation. Also, we list the difficulties that make adapting animation would meet. We hope Taiwan animators can produce the adapting works in process, and then they can not only upgrade animated technology but also get writing method which rewrite the original scripts in adapting process. Moreover, this research provides experiences of three animation advertisements in cooperation with the Cave Bookstore. These experiences focus on the preproduction, so that storyboard artist has chances about clients communication, rewriting text scripts to storyboards, character design, and scene design to practice in the production process. These can accumulate experiences such as animation making and scripts writing. At last, this paper provides document processing experiences and hope to reduce post-production occurrence of sudden situations in doing animation. This paper provides the results of adapting animations from other format sources, and experiences and skill analysis from the industry-university Cooperation.
