SuperWebGIS 2是崧旭資訊為解決在網際網路上提供地理資訊系統服務方案所研發出來的軟體套件，適用於運作公司內部的網站，或者是在網際網路上分享資訊給數百或數千個人。在國際開放地理資訊協會(Open Geospatial Consortium,OGC)所制定的網路出圖服務(Web MappingService, WMS;Web Feature Service, WFS)的標準標格的支援上，桌上型 GIS SuperGIS及行動 GIS Superpad均支援OGC的WMS, WFS展示，只要開啟OGC模組，就可加入由SuperWebGIS所架設的地圖服務內容。SuperWebGIS架站的方式，分為地圖內容編輯與網站發佈兩個階段，皆以圖形介面(GUI)來完成，對一般熟悉GIS的使用者，可以較容易地建構初期的地圖網站。影像金字塔(Image Pyramid)由相同大小的影像，不斷重複切割，形成階層式的影像層級，每個新的層級，均來自上一個層級影像的重新取樣(Hu Steven Y., Tao V., Wu Huayi, 2004)。量較上一個等級多。SuperWebGIS 2網路地圖伺服器，採預先出圖，配合影像金字塔及快取設計，有助於傳圖效能提昇。以事先出好的細小分割圖檔，預先儲在於地圖伺服器的暫存檔中，以減少當不同來源的客戶端對不同地圖範圍，所做出的產圖要求。

SuperWebGIS 2 is a web-GIS soultion that is developed by SuperGeo Technologies, Inc., it can provide various geographic information from GIS database to any client side on an internet commnunication interface. SuperWebGIS 2 not only works for enterprise unit, government management domain, but also for any other large amount of inquery and retrive requirement of spatial database. In the world wide trend of open geographic data, SuperWebGIS 2 follows the open data format rule, such as WMS and WFS, that are proposed by Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). SuperGeo desktop GIS platform, SuperGIS and mobile GIS device, SuperPad, both support the content that is made by SuperWebGIS 2 within the extension of OGC tool bar. SuperWebGIS exports a default map website, the simple work flow can divided into two parts: map content compilation and the website publish. The friendly graphic user interface (GUI) of window framework helps users to build a map website in a quickly tolerant time and less pre-required skills. The concept of image pyramid is cutting down each image size by the same size of sub area images, each level image content is based on the last level. User can produce map content by SuperWebGIS 2 in an image pyramid way to elevate the speed of map image content in a specific folder without producing the map extent content on demand in an uncertain request and response situation. The cache folder can be found in both server side and a client side for fasten the visited area map images.
