摘要


本試驗係用酜酸丙烯酯(Di-allyl-phthalate, 簡寫D.A.P.)及檸檬酸丙烯酯(Triallyl--citrate,簡寫TAC)單體,試製假漆。經試驗結果,得知可按溶劑聚合法及部份聚合法,製得烤漆或自乾漆,但不能用乳化聚合法製成水乳漆。製得之假漆,除耐碱性稍差外,可耐各種有機溶劑,漆模之光澤與硬度,均屬良好。

Diallyl phthalate and triallyl citrato polymerize rather slowly in contact with air; and their complete polymerization products are incompatible with solvents. Alternative procedures must be resorted to in order to make use of these two monomers in the preparation of self drying or stoving varnishes. Three different procedures, were tried, namely, emulsion polymerization, solvent polymerization and partial polymerization The generalized facts are as follows: 1. Attempt to make water emulsion paints from DAP and from TAC by the emulsion polymerization method had been a failure owing to the fact the emulsions separated into two layers upon standing; but the prepolymer obtained through the solvent procedure and the partial polymer by the partial polymerization method were suitable for varnish formulation. 2. Varnish films prepared from solvent prepolymerized resin were fairly strong, they were resistant to water, to 1% HCl, and to toluene However to dilute alkali solutions, their resistance was very weak. 3. Films often became crumpled after drying or baking, this is due to volume shrink age. It is a problem remained to be solved.
