摘要


過硼酸鈉之化學合成有二法,(一)使硼砂與碱類(如氫氧化鈉)反應,再以過氧化氫氧化;(二)令硼酸經過氧化鈉氧化,再以鹽酸部份中和剩餘之碱而成。本研究使用方法側重於前者,得到最佳原料配合為硼砂48公克,固體氫氧化鈉10公克,30%過氧化氫50公撮,水用量250公撮,最適合反應條件:溫度-2~12°C,時間2小時,所得過硼酸鈉產率為96.75%,活性氧為10.31 %。經放大20倍試驗結果,則產率為93.51 %,活性氧為8.74 %,並計算其生產成本,藉供參考;硼酸-過氧化鈉法亦曾討論之。

Sodium perborate tetrahydrate has been prepared by chemical synthesis. NaBO_3.4H_2O was obtained, when a saturated solution of borax and sodium hydroxide was treated with hydrogen peroxide. It has also been made by oxidizing boric acid suspended in cold water with sodium peroxide, and treating the salt which crystallizes out on cooling with hydrochloric acid. The optimum conditions in the former process have been found to be: 48 g. borax, 10 g. solid sodium hydroxide, 5 ml. of 30% H_2O_2 and 250 ml. water, reaction temperature -2~12°C, time 2 hrs. The yield of sodium perborate was 96.73%, containing 10.31% active oxygen. An experiment of large scale and the cost problems involved are also discussed. The results are as follows: yield 93.51%. containing 8.74% active oxygen.
