本試驗係用濕式球磨法,在助磨劑存在下將粗苯二甲藍銅(copper phthalocya-nine)球磨,並利用二甲苯處理及着色力試驗法探討各種助磨劑及其用量,有機溶劑及球磨時間等對晶型轉移百分率及球磨效率之影響。由試驗結果得知經球磨苯二甲藍銅由安定型結晶(β-型)轉移爲準安定型(α-型)結晶,晶型轉移百分率及球磨效率受各種因素之影響。所得結果如下:球磨時間24小時以內晶型轉移百分率繼續增加,其後增加率則不太顯著;球磨效率大之助磨劑,對晶型轉移之影響亦大;其用量在顏料之4倍量時,晶型轉移百分率最低,助磨劑之用量繼續增加,晶型轉移百分率則不再降低,有機溶劑使用芳香族化合物時,球磨效率較差,但對晶型轉移,則有阻止之效果。
Transition of stable crystalline form of copper phthalocyanine through wet grinding was examined. The grinding process was promoted in the presence of various amount of different additives. The effect of grinding efficiency as well as the rate of transition was determined by means of xylene treatment and tinting strength tests. Experiments showed that the transition from stable to metastable form increased with the milling time until 24 hrs, after which the increment became small. The speed of transition varied with the additive employed and its quantity used. For example, Na_2CO_3 was found to be the most efficient additive with best result obtained when used at 4:1 to the amount of the pigment. Aromatic organic solvent presented worse effect in milling and in fact retarded the speed of transition.
